Many of our wonderful trees are champions, reaching incredible heights and diameters. Join our self-guided tour as it takes you around the Garden to see some of the most spectacular specimens from around the world like our Araucaria araucana (Monkey Puzzle) which was planted in 1849 and is the Scottish Champion for height, or our Cryptomeria japonica (Japanese Cedar) with its champion girth! The planting of our wonderful collection of trees was meticulously planned and added to over 300 years to provide spectacular colour and interest through Autumn so there will be plenty to take in.
