
Sarah Watts will be sharing her lecture "Bringing Back the “Wee Trees”: Mountain Woodland Restoration in Scotland”
Sarah is Chair of the Mountain Woodland Action Group, Conservation Manager at Corrour in the Scottish Highlands and a part-time PhD researcher at the University of Stirling. Her talk will introduce Scotland’s mountain woodland habitats, discuss why they are under threat and outline the key benefits that restoration can provide to people and wildlife. We will also explore pioneering conservation projects and research that is ongoing to bring back treeline woodland to our uplands.
