
Simon McManus, Head Gardener at Floors Castle will demonstrate how climbing plants and wall shrubs such as Hydrangea and Wisteria are pruned. We will also demonstrate how the roses on chains in the Castle Gardens are maintained and the work that is done over winter on our climbing roses. We will also discuss and answer any questions regarding the pruning of shrubs and maintenance of herbaceous borders.
This unique workshop is open to everyone and will be followed with a delicious choice of Homemade Soup, Sandwiches and Quiche if you attend the morning session for lunch or an Afternoon Tea if you attend the morning session for lunch or an Afternoon Tea if you attend the afternoon session, both served in the Terrace café after your Workshop. Also included in the ticket price is entrance to the Gardens which you can wander and enjoy at your leisure after your workshop.
