
The Rhododendron collection in the 72 acre Garden is spectacular at this time of year, from the dwarf alpine species in the Rock Garden to the larger species growing in the Woodland Garden and Copse. Look out for the Japanese magnolia, Magnolia kobus in bloom throughout the Garden. Rake robbins (trilliums) flower in abundance in the Woodland Garden. Look out for Trillium grandiflorum and Trillium chloropetalum as well as hellebores as they make an appearance. Free tickets have to be booked online via the website prior to visiting the Garden.
