Barry Mill is a working water powered corn mill, the last of it's kind to work in Angus. It is conserved and run by the National Trust for Scotland charity.

Set alongside the old Dundee to Aberdeen road, it has a network of lades and a mill pond amongst beautiful woodland and waterside walks.

How to find us

Barry Mill is N of Barry village between A92 and A930, 2 miles W of Carnoustie.

Bus: Strathtay Buses no. 73 from Dundee, Carnoustie and Arbroath stop in Barry village (1/2 mile); see the Stagecoach website for timetable details.

Cycling: 1 mile from NCN 1

Train: Carnoustie Station, 2 miles, limited stop on Dundee–Aberdeen route

Road: 2 miles West of Carnoustie. Please follow road signs to find carpark.
