Geilston Garden
Geilston is a diverse 10 acre garden, intimate and tranquil but packed with a variety of horticultural delights.
The ornamental walled garden has wonderful spring displays of azaleas, and a long traditional herbaceous border. The restored Mackenzie & Moncur glasshouse and unique potting shed with a secret window overlooking the Geilston Burn are not to be missed.
The magical woodland garden has a waterfall, bridges over the burn and mossy paths winding through beautiful shrubs. In spring, the woods are carpeted with bluebells and wood anemones.
A huge productive kitchen garden provides inspiration for home growers; a wide variety of vegetables and soft fruit is on sale from July to October.
Geilston has the secluded appeal of a private garden. Quirky surprises await around every corner: discover the marriage well, the cherub birdbath and the dipping tank. How to find us
