Iona Hotels
A warm Hebridean welcome awaits you at the St Columba Hotel on the beautiful Isle of Iona. The perfect base for you to explore the island’s sacred history and find your own sense of peace and tranquility. Originally built as a manse, the hotel stands next to the world famous Iona Abbey and ancient Reilig Òdhrain. Enjoy the unfolding views and otherworldly sunrises from our lounge, relax beside our roaring fire, or walk off lunch amidst the unspoilt landscape that surrounds you. Be sure to visit the Quiet Garden, the Organic Garden and the St Columba Larder.
How to find us
Iona is a small island, just off the larger Isle of Mull. The shortest route here is via Oban on the west coast of Scotland where you get the car/passenger ferry to Craignure on the Isle of Mull. You then cross Mull heading west to Fionnphort by bus or car where you will take the foot passenger ferry to Iona.
If you are travelling by car it is vital to book your car onto the Oban to Craignure crossing in both directions.
You can’t bring your car to Iona but you can park near the ferry pier at Fionnphort and we will be delighted to meet you at the Iona side and collect your luggage.
