Lip na Cloiche Garden & Nursery
Lip na Cloiche Garden & Nursery is situated on a steep hillside on the NW coast of the Isle of Mull, with stunning views over to Ulva and the Treshnish Isles.
The path crosses the burn, lushly planted with moisture-lovers, and winds up the hill past colourful herbaceous beds, echiums and wind-hardy evergreens to a seating area from which to enjoy the breathtaking view amidst bottlebrushes, agapanthus, a collection of sedums and rambling roses.
The garden is notable for the wide range of plants thriving in the mild climate, and for the assortment of striking pieces of driftwood and old iron implements which have been sympathetically integrated into the planting.
There is an extensive range of shrubs, perennials and ground cover plants for sale, all propagated from plants growing in the garden and thus of guaranteed hardiness for West Coast conditions.
