Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society - The Caley
The Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society (The Caley) is Scotland's national horticultural and gardening society. Members include both amateur and professional, generalists, specialists and many others who simply like gardens and gardening. We aim to encourage and improve the science, art and practice of all types of horticulture and to advance education in gardening and horticulture for everyone.
We have a new permanent home at Saughton Park in Edinburgh where we will be offering a range of classes, workshops and demonstrations to help you get the best from your plants and gardens. Look out for "Saughton Sundays" which happen on the first Sunday of every month (except January). There will be a range of activities taking place on the day including practical gardening skills, children's activities and advice sessions. Saughton Park is bounded by Balgreen Road, Gorgie Road and Ford's Road. There is a carpark at the Ford's Road entrance (follow signs for Saughton Sports Centre along Stevenson Drive then Stenhouse Avenue), with disabled parking bays. The area is well served by public transport, with a number of buses stopping at or near the park.

First Bus - 23, X23Balgreen Road:
Lothian Buses - 1, 2, 22, 38.The Balgreen tram stop is also close by.

Opening Times
also:We are running a programme of activities at Saughton Park called Saughton Sundays. These are held on the first Sunday of every month, and are a mix of talks, practical demonstrations, workshops and gardening activities for you to take part in.
