Ben Reid Garden Centre is a rather special nursery and garden centre – especially at Christmas time.
As an independent family-run business based in Aberdeen, we specialise in growing a variety of trees and plants, guaranteed to thrive in our challenging North East climate, which means there is plenty of choice when selecting the ‘perfect one’ this Christmas.
In autumn, most garden centres are taken over by Christmas from as early as September, with a vast array of man-made trees, decorations and gifts on offer. However, have you thought about introducing some real, vibrant garden-grown greenery into your home this Christmas?
We offer over 1,000 cut Christmas trees every December, and with so many to choose from, it’s important that you consider the height, shape and branch length that will suit the perfect spot in your home. Taking in the elevating smell of pine and curtain of greenery should all add to the joyful experience of picking your freshly grown Christmas tree.
But the fun doesn’t need to stop there. Although a beautifully decorated Christmas tree is the focal point of any home, indoor plants such as poinsettias, azaleas or cyclamens can add a light Christmas touch to your decor and also make the perfect gift when visiting friends. Or why not make the entrance of your home festively attractive with a hand-crafted wreath? Of the 600 holly wreaths we offer, over half are crafted here in our nursery in Aberdeen, with a personal touch added to each and every one.
